Department
The department Capital, Cash & Collateral Management is part of Life Division Finance and in charge of all capital, cash and collateral management tasks for SCOR Group (for the life part). This includes but is not limited to capital planning, review of the capital status of all life entities, contribution to and analysis of models from Rating Agencies. It is furthermore responsible for the cash management of the SCOR Global Life Group which includes actuals, planning and forecasts in all reporting dimensions. In addition, it carries responsibility for all internal retrocession contracts within SGL. It furthermore supports all life markets in large business opportunities from a Finance point of view.

Your range of assignments:

  • Supporting all capital, cash and collateral managements tasks for the Life Division of SCOR
  • Provide financial information for models of Rating Agencies and carry out analysis on rating impacts for controlling purposes
  • Support planning process of SGL for capital, cash and collateral topics and prepare variance analysis
  • Support in the negotiation of internal retrocessions contracts for Life Division
  • Give input on behalf of Division Finance in all business referrals of SGL Group
  • Analyse and review of all tax issues for SGL Group
  • Support financial strategy projects (e.g. restructuring projects, strategic plan)
     

Your profile:

  • University degree in mathematics, actuarial science, economics or other discipline with a strong mathematical component
  • At least 5 years working experience in life (re)insurance or audit / consulting firm, preferable in the life segment related to actuarial and / or controlling tasks
  • Additional experience in financial planning and reporting (IFRS, Economic metrics) preferred
  • Advanced IT skills of standard software (MS Office; Access or similar database solutions) required
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, accuracy with numbers and attention to details required
  • Comfort with evolving priorities and adaptable to change
  • Responsible and goal-orientated work style
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively across departments and locations
  • Very good English language proficiency
